Passengers of Sunwing Airlines and Porter Airlines may now apply for refunds, following the conclusion of their bailout negotiations with the federal government. Sunwing requires eligible customers to submit a request through an online COVID-19 refund request form by August 27, 2021 (11:59 p.m. EST). Porter Airlines also requires eligible customers to complete the COVID-19 Refund Request form. This must be submitted by September 3, 2021.
Sunwing and Porter Airlines Passengers May Apply for Refunds
Passengers of Sunwing Airlines and Porter Airlines may also now apply for refunds, following the conclusion of their bailout negotiations with the federal government.
Sunwing requires eligible customers to submit a request through an online COVID-19 refund request form by August 27, 2021 (11:59 p.m. EST). If the booking was made through a travel agency, please contact the agency to have them submit a COVID-19 refund request form. This policy covers hotels, flights, cruise packages and vacation packages booked on or before June 25, 2021, for travel scheduled on or after February 1, 2020. See here for more:

Porter Airlines also requires eligible customers to complete the COVID-19 Refund Request form. This must be submitted by September 3, 2021. If you applied through a travel agent, then please contact your travel agent to submit a request on your behalf. This policy covers flights originally scheduled on or after February 1, 2020, and booked before July 5, 2021. Please note that Porter Airlines has said that it may take up to 150 days from the date of the receipt to process the refund request, while it aims to respond to most requests much sooner.
