Privacy Policy
General
PIAC collects, retains, uses, and discloses personal information (e.g., name and address) only as necessary to provide the services requested by individuals contacting us, or as specified below.
Donor List
We retain the name, address and donation information of each donor to PIAC so that we can send them newsletters, bulletins and other information on PIAC activities, and solicit further donations from time to time. We do not use this information for any other purpose and do not share it with anyone else. We will remove you from our fundraising list upon request.
Newsletter List
If you are interested in receiving the PIAC “Hotwire” newsletter, we ask for your address (postal, fax, and/or email) so that we can send it to you. You can also read the PIAC Hotwire on the PIAC web site, at http://www.piac.ca . The PIAC Hotwire mailing list is used only to mail the PIAC Hotwire and to send notices about PIAC activities.
PIAC Publications
When you order PIAC publications, we collect your name, mailing address, contact information (which can include a phone number and/or email address), and information necessary for payment. You can pay by means of credit card, cheque, money order, or cash. Our use of this information is limited to processing payments and shipping publications. We do not make it available to third parties, nor do we combine it with any other information. Your shipping and contact information may be kept on file in case you choose to order any more publications, but will not be used in any other way.
PIAC Web Site
We do not enable cookies. We also periodically delete logs of users that view our website. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites to which we provide links, nor are we responsible for the security of network traffic beyond our server.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we change our privacy policy, we will post a notice about such changes on our website homepage, explaining the change and its implications for you. If we want to use your personal information for a purpose beyond those described above, we will contact you in order to obtain your prior consent.

If you wish to update, correct, remove or access the information PIAC may have about you, please contact us at the address below.
